Oxyfix is packaged in convenient single dose packs.  Each pack contains 4 capsules.  Our dosage recommendation is to take one packet, (4 capsules) about 30 minutes before going to altitude.  It only takes about 30 minutes to be absorbed by the body and begin working so no need to take days in advance like some other supplements.  Each packet lasts about 12 hours or more.

Our recommendation is not to exceed 8 caps, or 2 packets in a 24 hour period. Oxyfix is extremely non-toxic.  It is also extremely effective. Taking more than the recommended dose in a 24 hour period does not increase it’s effectiveness so there is no need to waste it.

Yes, it is safe for children.  For children 80 lbs and under we recommend a half dose, 2 caps, (half a packet) and not to exceed 4 caps in a 24 hour period.  For very young children, about 3 and under we recommend using caution and parental judgment on whether they are able to swallow the capsules.

Oxyfix it is not intended for use in pregnant or lactating women.

While Oxyfix is perfectly safe to take with most medications there are a couple medicines that it might be possibly contraindicated to take with.  These are Benzodiazepines such as Lorazepam and Valium, and Anticoagulants such as Warfarin and Coumadin.  Certain ingredients in Oxyfix can enhance the effects of these drugs.  So if you are taking any anticoagulants (blood thinners) or Benzodiazepines (sedatives used for sleep disorders and anxiety) you should be aware of this. Always consult your doctor if you have any concerns.
